Staff is impersonal, dismissive and uniformed. Since moving to their new location they seem to act as though they’d prefer if you took your business elsewhere. Person at desk did not acknowledge me, I had to greet them as they came into the plant house. Didn’t have what I needed, didn’t know why it wasn’t there and couldn’t tell me when it would be in stock. Took a long bike ride in the hot sun specifically to come here. I don’t have a car and this sort of thing is really a set back. Could have sourced the only other item I was gonna get there at any heb along they way. They have ocean floor soil now and at a better price, too. Not the level of care and service I have come to expect from this establishment.

This is my third time coming, and I have loved my experience here. I am at beginner with plans and Sydney has done a great job helping me pick my plans, replanting them and taking the time to explain how to take care of them.

I was shopping in there yesterday for the first time since they moved to this new location. Tillery has been my LOCALLY OWNED go-to for plants since they opened years ago, and they’re much the reason for my love & knowledge of houseplants today. Good selection still— they’re really setting up the new place nicely & I just love their houseplant selection. Best in town. Though, the main reason for my review is to share a very pleasant exchange I had with an employee. I’m currently eight months (big and) pregnant, and I was having a hard time physically picking up the things I wanted to buy. Isaiah was a tremendous help to me. He noticed me struggling and came in with a measuring tape and a cart. He was helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable— and he even loaded my things into my car for me, which I’m very thankful for because I honestly don’t know how I would’ve lifted the big bag of soil or big plants by myself! With his help I was able to buy all the things I wanted to buy with ease. Thanks so much for helping this pregnant mama make her plant dreams come true!

This plant center is absolutely gorgeous! I was working in town for the day and wanted some place to walk around on my lunch break. I stumbled upon this little gem and I’m so glad I did! They have sooooo much variety, and really great prices. The staff really care about plants and people and will walk around with you and talk or just smile and wave if you’re giving off introvert vibes. And honestly, it’s just so beautiful, someplace you can get lost in the middle of a big city. I’m considering picking up more shifts in Austin just to come back!

I love this place. Currently they are getting ready to move down the road to another location. Lots of plants, pots, soil etc. all 30% off. I went into the greenhouse and it was like a jungle. I loved that feeling. I found the cutest Parlor Palm and a little pot and saucer. I named him Mervyn Frond. Haha I am looking forward to checking out the new location early 2026. The staff was really helpful and knowledgeable. Thanks again.
